Pam Garcy, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Dallas, Texas. She has served on the adjunct faculty of Argosy University-Dallas and Richland Community College. In addition, Pam supervises and examines students in the Rehabilitation Psychology Department at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Pam enjoys giving lectures in and around Dallas on topics related to motherhood, parenting, relationships, success-mindedness, and listening to the love that guides you. She serves as a volunteer in her children's schools in her free time.
Pam received her Bachelor's degree at Rice University, her Master's degree at University of Houston, and her Doctorate at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Pam has also taken continuing education training with leaders in the field of Psychology, such as Donald Meichenbaum, PhD and Albert Ellis, PhD. She has completed Advanced Practicum Training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy in New York. In addition, she has completed her own Success Coaching with five amazing coaches who were selected and trained by Chicken Soup for the Soul author Jack Canfield.
In August, Pam will have been married to her husband, Roger, for seventeen years. She and Roger have three children, a dog, two guinea pigs, and 3 hermit crabs (and one noisy, love-filled house)! Pam is grateful to have enjoyed much love and abundance in her life. She has started writing as part of her greater mission to promote greater compassion toward the self and others and thereby eliminate elective suffering. |
